Check-In

Checking In

North Platte passengers should check-in one hour prior to
their scheduled departure time. TSA closes the checked
baggage screening station 30 minutes prior to departure
and opens the passenger and carry-on baggage screening
station 20 minutes before departure. Because airline
personnel must process paperwork, load bags (and sometimes
de-ice airplanes) the airline check-in counter is closed
20 minutes prior to departure and cannot be reopened
until after the flight departs.

It is very important that you have your E-ticket trip confirmation itinerary print-out with you at check-in. If you book your trip on separate airlines, the ticket agents at North Platte only have the Great Lakes Airlines' portion of your trip in their computers and, as such, do not know what airline you are connecting with in Denver. They will use information from your confirmation itinerary to check your bags (if applicable) and provide you with Denver Airport concourse information.

Great Lakes' Boarding Pass

Great Lakes' ticket agents can only issue boarding passes for the North Platte-Denver-North Platte portion of your trip. You will be issued your Denver boarding pass when you check-in at your Denver connecting airline's departure gate.

Printing Your Boarding Passes From Your Computer

If you booked separate tickets with Great Lakes and your Denver connecting airline, you can use your computer to print your Denver boarding pass prior to traveling.  Just go to your Denver connecting airline's web site and pull up your ticket information using the record locator number on the confirmation sheet that was emailed or faxed to you when you booked your flight. Simply request and print your boarding pass. The printed boarding pass will have a bar code on it that will be scanned by a machine next to the departure gate jet way door as you board the aircraft in Denver.
