Prohibited Carry-On Items |
|
|
Generally speaking, prohibited items are any items that may be used as a lethal weapon. The prohibited items list now includes liquids, gels and aerosols. If you wish to take any of these items in your carry on bag, their containers must not exceed 3 oz in size and must be stored in one (clear), quart size plastic zip lock bag. Only one quart bag per passenger. The quart bag must be placed in the carry-on baggage x-ray transport bin for screening prior to the passenger going thru the walk-thru metal detector. Larger items, such as baby food, milk and prescription medications, do not have to be stored in a zip-lock bag, but their presence should be made known to TSA personnel.
