Booking a Flight Directly with United Airlines or Frontier Airlines (Code Share Partners)
Great Lakes Airlines has code-share agreements with United Airlines and Frontier Airlines, which means they can sell seats on Great Lakes' airplanes. If you book directly with United or Frontier they can issue one E-ticket for your entire trip, including the Great Lakes’ portion. This can be accomplished using either their toll free number or their web site.
ALERT: as code share partners, United and Frontier Airlines are allocated a limited number of seats on every Great Lakes' flight. If either United or Frontier sell their allotment of seats on a particular Great Lakes' flight, their reservation systems might show the entire flight as being sold out, when in fact there could be a good number of seats still available for sale.
With this in mind, have Great Lakes' reservations verify seat availability if you are trying to book a combination ticket thru United or Frontier and they quote unusually high prices or show the Great Lakes' flight you wish to connect with as being sold out. Should there be seats available and you still want to connect with Frontier or United you will have to book a separate ticket on Great Lakes.
NOTE: Due to reservation system limitations, Great Lakes Airlines does not have the capability to book a combined ticket with either of their code share partners. So, if you want to connect with United or Frontier in Denver and use only one ticket you will have to make your reservation thru United or Frontier. Of course, you can always book separate tickets if you so wish.
Denver Baggage Transfer
Great Lakes and their code share partners (Frontier and United) have inter-line baggage transfer agreements with each other, which means your bags will be transferred to the connecting airline in Denver and delivered all the way to your final destination.

Booking a Flight Directly With A Non-Code Share Airline
You must book two separate tickets if you book a flight directly with a Denver connecting airline that does not code-share with Great Lakes Airlines. Both tickets issued will be E-tickets.
Denver Baggage Transfer
Great Lakes Airlines has an inter-line baggage transfer agreement with most of the the non-code share Denver connecting airlines. This means, even though you booked separate tickets, the bags you checked in North Platte will be transferred to the Denver connecting airline and delivered all the way to your final destination.
Currently, the domestic airlines that do not have inter-line Denver baggage transfer agreements with Great Lakes are: Southwest, Jet Blue, Air Trans, Delta and Northwest. If you intend to travel from North Platte with checked bags and connect with one of the non-inter-line airlines you will will have to claim your bags in Denver and go thru the check-in and security screening process again.
To forgo this hassel, you can choice to take a carry-on bag with you instead. Go to TSA's 3-1-1 site for helpful information about how to pack your carry-on bag for security screening.
NOTE: Some international airlines do not have inter-line baggage agreements with Great Lakes Airline. It is highly recommended that you call Great Lakes Airlines' local number (308) 532-1558 to find out the Denver baggage transfer capability of the airline you are planning to connect with before you book your flight.
