BAGGAGE TRANSFER ALERT

United Airlines does not have baggage transfer agreements with all of the airlines operating from Denver International Airport (DIA). A transfer agreement lets your checked bags move automatically onto a connecting flight with a different airline; without one, you'll need to claim your bags after landing and recheck them at the other airline's counter, which adds time to your layover. This also applies if your itinerary was booked as separate tickets, regardless of any agreement between the airlines. If you're not sure whether your connecting airline has an agreement with United, check before you book so you know what to expect at DIA.
